What kinds of conditions do you treat?

StatDoctors can treat many medical conditions that generally do not require a visit to the emergency room or urgent care center. For a list of some of the conditions we treat, click here.

Who will treat me?

Patients will have a personalized consultation with one of our StatDoctors physicians who will provide the appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Our network of board-certified physicians represents the top emergency medicine specialists in the nation, with the shared passion for delivering high-quality care for today’s ePatients.

How do you keep my personal health and payment information secure and private?

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting your personal information, including medical information about you. We employ administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to safeguard and protect information under our control from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. These measures include encrypting your personal information when we store it or transmit it, and using secure servers that we back up daily. I have a question about my account. Where do I get answers?

Can I get a prescription or request refills from StatDoctors?

Yes, if during your consultation, the StatDoctors physician determines medication is needed to treat your condition, the prescription will be sent electronically (ePrescribe) to the pharmacy of your choice. Prescription refills are at the discretion of the StatDoctors physician, and if prescribed, are limited to future refills only by your Primary Care Physician. StatDoctors medical professionals do not prescribe DEA controlled substances or “lifestyle” drugs, and StatDoctors does not guarantee that a prescription will be written. Prescriptions will be written, if at all, in the sole discretion and medical judgment of your StatDoctors medical professional.

Can I send my doctors a copy of my StatDoctors visit?

Yes. A record of every eVisit is posted to your StatDoctors account, added to the electronic health record (EHR), and can be provided to your primary care physician or healthcare provider upon your request.

Can StatDoctors treat me for a medical emergency?

No. If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, call 911. For a list of some of the conditions we treat, click here. If, during your StatDoctors consultation, you experience symptoms requiring emergency care or an in-person exam, the StatDoctor physician will refer you to the appropriate emergency or urgent care facility.

Can I use the StatDoctors service to consult with a physician if I am not a member or employee of a health plan that offers StatDoctors as a benefit?

No. StatDoctors is an exclusive benefit available through employer and group-sponsored health plans. Contact your employer or health insurer to see if the StatDoctors benefit can be added to your health plan.

How do I request a consultation with a StatDoctor?

Connecting with StatDoctors is easy. You can Login/Register on your mobile device, computer or by phone to connect with a StatDoctors physician in minutes.

How quickly can I talk to a StatDoctor?

On average, you can connect with a StatDoctors physician in less than 10 minutes. To request an eVisit, Login/Register on your mobile device, computer or by phone. Provide the reason for your visit, the state you’re located in and payment information if applicable. It’s that easy.

How will StatDoctors know my medical history?

When you set up your StatDoctors account you will be prompted to complete your electronic health record (your medical history, allergies, and medications). Once you’ve registered, you can login to your account anytime to schedule an eVisit or manage your account.

Can I use StatDoctors for my children?

Yes. StatDoctors physicians can treat children age 3 and older. A parent or guardian must have a StatDoctors account to add dependents. In addition, a parent or guardian must be available to participate in consultations involving children under age 18. Dependents age 18 and older must set up an individual StatDoctors account.

Can I use StatDoctors when I am traveling?

Yes. Simply provide the state you are located in at the time of your eVisit request to be connected to a physician licensed in that state.

How do I login to my account?

You can Login/Register online or through our mobile app. To login online, click the link in the Menu on the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

I forgot my username or password. How do I access my account?

Click on “Forgot Username or Password” link from the login screen to request access to your account. You will be prompted to enter your email address or username to request a password reset. A password reset is required to receive an email with your username. You can also call us for assistance accessing your account.

What if I miss my call from a StatDoctor?

StatDoctors will try to contact you three times. If the doctor is unable to reach you, your consultation will be automatically canceled. If you still need to consult with a StatDoctor, login to your account to request a new eVisit.

How do I know if my condition can be treated through an eVisit?

How do I enter or make changes to my medical history?

When you set up your StatDoctors account you will be prompted to complete your electronic health record (your medical history, allergies, and medications). Once you’ve registered, you can login to your account anytime to schedule an eVisit or manage your account.

Can I use a debit card to pay for StatDoctors services?

If your debit card also has the Visa or MasterCard symbol, you may make a payment using your debit card. You will need to enter the card type (Visa/MasterCard), your account number, expiration date and security code (which can be found on the back of your card).

How do I change my credit card information?

Login to your account and select “Manage Account” from the main menu bar. You can add, edit or delete payment information at any time from the “Payment Options” tab. StatDoctors does not store credit card information without your authorization.
